Very soon I’ll be heading off to the airport and for my flight to Kathmandu via Istanbul and Delhi. Tomorrow at around this time I should already be there.
It is quite exciting to finally leave for this trip which I have been planning for more than a year now. I only hope that my ankle will not frustrate my plans too soon. Keep fingers crossed, but it has been better every day though not so rapidly anymore. I’m still pretty confident that if I just go slow enough and pay attention to how I walk, it will be just fine. Not excellent, but fine.
I have added a Baruntse page here where I will probably put more information as I get to Kathmandu (and have more time and energy). At least I will put the link to the SummitClimb news page for our expedition as they have not put up one yet. Also you can check my progress from My Location page which should keep track of my Spot Messenger whenever I’m in the range of the satellites.
That is all for now. Keep checking here for posts that will be copied from the official expedition news page by my “home agent”. Hopefully I’ll be able to send a message or two too, but don’t hold your hopes too high for that. Next post from Kathmandu, guys! 😀
